Q: Wait.. what's an OOC and an IC thread?

A: OOC stands for "out of character". Out of character is where the GM posts the plot and bio, players discuss the RP, and character sheets are uploaded. The character sheets can be from the Clan section, if so desired. The Clan section is where people harbor their OCs. An IC thead stands for "in character" thread/topic. This is where a "copy" of the OOC goes, but with the actual role playing. ROLE PLAYING DOES NOT GO ON IN THE OOC TOPIC.


A General RP is one that a general audience can view and participate in. No sexual themes, light violence, and little to no cursing is what constitutes a General RP. A General RP should be suitable for a 10-12 year old.


A PG-13 RP can have some sexual themes, moderate gore, and mild cursing. This would be suitable for 13-year-olds, hence the "13". It is more intense than a General RP.


A Mature RP will have sexual themes, heavy gore, and high cursing. These RPs are subject to sensitive material and MUST have a rating reason. These RPs are not suitable for young audiences. These RPs may NOT have heavy sexual themes. This forum does not tolerate intense, visual sexual subjects.


This type of RP can include canon characters and OCs. You MUST have the rating in the title of both the OOC and IC before starting. It can be General, PG-13, or Mature. Any characters from the book goes.


This RP type can include anything from dogs, to humans, to superheroes. Anything is game. However, a rating must be present in the title of the OOC and IC. Any rating may go (General, PG-13, Mature) is allowed, so long as it is in the OOC and IC titles.


Private role plays are non-public role plays between a group. Meaning, a random person can't join. One on ones are just between two people. In the title of both types of role plays, the rating must be present. Any type (General, PG-13, Mature) are allowed. Having the usernames of the players in the title is optional.

Any violation of these rules will result in a ban.
